Ingeniousness lies in simplicity. Good ideas need not be expensive. We at PMS Thomin offer affordable quality: serviceable and easily applicable for the production process of the packed goods and – whenever possible – environment-friendly during disposal.

 

Development of a simple packaging for piston rings, with the proviso that the respective punchings of the piston rings are exactly superimposed and thus no twisting or snagging of the rings can occur.

 

Manufacture of a cardboard tube with glued on cardboard lengthways strips serving as guidance and alignment for the piston ring punching. The cardboard tubes are closed by plastic lids made of PE to prevent the rings from slipping out. The key feature. The packaging carrier consists solely of two materials – cardboard and plastic – that can be easily separated from each other and disposed of.

We provide the customer a simple, functional packaging that integrates itself superbly into the production process and offers the advantage of environment-friendly, cost-effective disposal.
