Digital printing, flexographic printing, offset printing, silkscreen printing, intaglio printing, thermal transfer printing
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE COLOURS?
4-colour printing usually denotes printing in CMYK colours. In this case, all colours in the print image are generated by rasterization of the primary colours cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Furthermore, special colours from the HKS and Pantone spectrum can be printed.
WHICH PRINT DATA ARE REQUIRED?
PDF/X files:
- The documents are to be created as composite files (not colour separated).
- Document in CMYK, special colour or shade of grey
- All pages as individual pages in a PDF file
- Image resolution at least in 300 dpi
- 3 mm trim
- Create cutting marks outside the section
- Embed all fonts
- Preserve transparencies
- Create any lacquerings, embossings or imprints respectively as separate overprinting special colours
